Orange Blossom Bears Polaris

Polaris is made from powder blue and white Schulte mohair with gold threads throughout. This teddy bear has premium glass eyes with shading for definition. Her pawpads are ultrasuede, and she is fully jointed. Her head is wobbly to give her many options for posing. Polaris is filled with poyfil and copper bb's for added weight. She wears a white satin bow around her neck. Signed and dated by the artist. OOAK (one of a kind).

Welcome to my corner of the world....

In the heart of a hollow
And beside a strong stream,

the home of Orange Blossom Bears.

I have always been an artist at heart: it's a hobby, a passion and as necessary as breathing (at least to me). I have dabbled in every medium I could get my hands on and have made a living from my artistic endeavors for many years.

My 'day job' is elementary school teacher/mom, but the evenings are my own, and that's when the bears come out to play. I am inspired by many other bear artists and keep in close contact with others in the teddy bear community. Art is a wonderful thing, it evolves and changes and grows. I learn so much from other people and even more from trial and error. I find creating these little bears (and kittens and bunnies) very relaxing and satisfying. I enjoy seeing each little personality emerge from the fur.

Each bear is unique and therefore one of a kind....I couldn't duplicate them if I wanted to. Believe me when I say, that I am attached to each little face, and I always feel just a little sad when my bears go off to their new homes.

They are more than just fur and fluff, they are friends.....I hope my bears appeal to many and find good homes full of warmth and hugs.
